Day 1: OPTION – 1 DAY TRIP
5:00 AM: Pickup from Nashik.
7:30 AM: Breakfast near Yeola or Vaijapur. Poha, misal pav or paratha with tea is enough.
9:30 AM: Reach Ellora. Park at the designated area. Check that the caves are open, since Tuesday is normally the closed day.
10:00 AM: Ellora Caves. Start with the Kailasa Temple (Cave 16), and allow about one and a half to two hours. Keep water handy, and keep the pace slow for senior citizens.
12:30 PM: A short visit to another cave group, such as the Buddhist or Jain caves.
1:00 PM: Lunch near Verul. Try a thali or kadak bhakri with thecha.
2:00 PM: Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga darshan, if time and queue allow.
2:30 PM: Start the return drive to Nashik, with a tea stop on the way.
