5:00 AM: Pickup from Nashik. If you want an early Trimbakeshwar or local darshan first, tell us in advance, and we plan a later start with a shorter Ellora stay.
7:30 AM: Breakfast near Yeola or Vaijapur. Poha, misal pav or paratha with tea is enough.
9:30 AM: Reach Verul. Park at the designated area and walk to the temple. Weekday mornings are calmer, and Mondays and weekends can have a long queue.
10:00 AM: Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga darshan. Follow the dress and entry rules. Waiting time depends on the day, so we keep a buffer.
11:30 AM: Ellora Caves. Start with the Kailasa Temple (Cave 16), and allow about one and a half hours. Keep water handy, and keep the pace slow for senior citizens. Check that the caves are open on your day, since Tuesday is normally the closed day.
